Livni Leaves for Washington

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni took off towards Washington on Sunday night, where she will meet with PLO negotiator Saeb Erekat as peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority resume.

"I'm leaving with a sense of responsibility but also with great hope,? she said. ?There is now an opportunity for both sides to pave the way towards resolving the conflict, which is extracting a heavy price from both nations.?
